We provided them with a high quality design that provided a protected solution that minimized cost and downtime.
MDI Pre- engineered a stainless steel support system that was designed to accommodate cable feeds to each of the 480 volt services.
De-energized utility service & removed the existing buss bar connections for three 480 volt feeds. Field installed support system at each transformer to accommodate the new feeder cables. Installed cables on stainless support system and terminated flex cables with compression fittings.
The compression fittings and transformer connection points were wrapped in high voltage fusing tape for protection from the elements. All installed cables where HI-Pot tested and certified.
