MDI installed the conduit, wiring & electronic components for the individual FM-200 – Pre-Action and Vesda fire alarm systems.
These systems were installed to notify the building occupants to evacuate in the event of a fire or other emergency. They are designed to provide maximum coverage and to prevent damage to critical systems in the event of a fire. The system is set to notify key personnel on and offsite in the event of fire.
Pre-Action system: MDI installed the conduit, wire & electronic components for this system. This system consisted of a main panel and ceiling detection in various locations throughout the space. Photoelectric smoke detectors are cross zoned to reduce potentially unwanted discharge.
FM-200 System: Protection for the sensitive computer, electronic and telecommunications equipment, this agent deploys quickly and cleanly it won’t leave behind oily residue, particulate or water. Photoelectric smoke detectors are cross zoned to reduce potentially unwanted discharge. MDI installed manual pull stations are also used to release the system. An abort station was provided to prevent accidental discharge. I full scale annunciator was provided for a quick visual indication of the location of an activated smoke detector.
Vesda System: MDI installed a vesda early warning smoke detection system. This system features continuous air sampling to provide the earliest possible warning of an impending fire hazard. This provides the critical time needed to investigate an alarm and trigger an appropriate response.
