Systems Lab Room Design & Build (Schaumburg)

This project was design-build of an existing operations center converted into a new computer lab space. The electrical room upgrades included new utility and ups feeds from an existing switchboard and new Hogan ground box to provide for future expansion. MDI installed two new 150 KVA UPS units and associated battery banks. We provided a UPS parallel board with integrated bypass abilities and one 150 KVA power distribution unit. The Lab work included four rows of 225 amp Starline bussway. We installed a new DC rectifier for server loads as well as lighting and general & HVAC power.
